Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner Spot Light:


Kenji Darby is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) recognized for his commitment to mental health recovery and community empowerment. According to the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association's CPRP roster, Darby earned his certification on February 7, 2025, which remains valid through December 31, 2028. 


Beyond his work in psychiatric rehabilitation, Darby is an accomplished cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur. He holds credentials including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Master of Education (M.Ed.). As the CEO of Omnisource Consulting, Inc., Darby leads an award-winning IT cybersecurity, training, and staff augmentation firm. His expertise has been sought by major organizations such as the U.S. Department of Defense, FEMA, Sony, and Target.


Darby is also deeply invested in youth development and education. He serves as Chairman of the Bowie/Mitchellville Alumni Chapter (BMAC) STEM Program, where he launched a Cybersecurity Academy and a National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Jr. Chapter to inspire and mentor young minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.


His personal journey from adversity to leadership is chronicled in his motivational writings, including the article “Get Back Up!” where he reflects on overcoming personal and professional challenges through faith and resilience.


Kenji Darby’s multifaceted career reflects a rare blend of technical expertise, mental health advocacy, and community leadership, making him a dynamic force in both the cybersecurity and psychiatric rehabilitation fields.
